Educational Television Station
LPS Media also known as LPS TV runs and manages the Lawrence educational public access cable television channels. The program schedule are available in the LPS Media Schedule Brochure. This channel airs locally providing news related to Lawrence Public Schools, educational shows, theater performances and enrichment events such as Lawrence High School Sports, and other afterschool activities.

TV Studios
Lawrence Public Schools currently have serveral active TV studios where students work with educators to learn and use technical equipment to create their own television shows. Students gain experience in producing and recording shows as they write scripts, create storyboards, and record their own shows in a television studio style environment.
These studios are equipped with professional television studio grade equipment and mainstream video and image editing software.

Student Work Study Opportunities
LPS Media helps provide students an opportunity to gain work experiences, earn extra revenue, and an opportunity to add a media related work study to their resume. The LPS Media department hires students and trains them to record and handle production equipment.
Requirement
- Must be a high school student at Lawrence High School.
- Has a valid Social Security Number
- Valid Identification Card or Driver License
- Must be punctual
- Maintain acceptable GPA
Students Responsibilities
- Safely use equipment after training
- Clear communication with LPS Media staff
- Represent LPS Media and LHS in proper attire and attitude
- Complete all required paperwork
