Rollins Student Shows How to Give

The Rollins School has participated in “Pennies for Patients” for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society for the past 5 years and this year raised $605.00. Our top donationRollins came from student, Elvin Pena.  He collected $78.16 by asking his family to contribute their loose change.  He looked everywhere for change!!
We asked Elvin to write a little something about what he did and he said,"I got money from my mom, dad and grandparents for the sick kids.”
Thank you Elvin and all the students at the Rollins School.

Leprechauns Visit the New Hall of Flags

Rollins School celebrated St. Patrick's Day with fun costumes and a visit to see the Irish flag in their beautiful, new "Hall of Flags" inside the auditorium.

Nile the Whale Comes to Rollins

Cynde McInnis brought a special, extra large delivery to students at the Rollins School. She arrived with Nile, her 43 ft., life-sized inflatable whale that was designed after a female humpback whale born in 1987, who often summers off the coast of Massachusetts. By bringing Nile to classrooms around the country, she hopes to teach students about whales, the oceans, and to inspire our next generation of ocean advocates.

Rollins Students Lend a Hand

Students at the Rollins School took out their brightly colored plastic shovels and got some exercise while helping to clear the snow from their playground area. Everyone had some fun in the snow.
