Wetherbee Events

Rodriguez

First grader, Marisabel Rodriguez has been working hard on Epic and ST math. Andrison Brito, in first grade, has been learning a lot of cool things on the computer. Shout out to Ms. Rastello for making remote learning so much fun!

Earth Day 1

Ms. Williams organizes a neighborhood Earth Day clean up every year in her neighborhood and while maintaining social distancing guidelines her community still managed to collect 24 full trash bags! She shared photos with her students and challenged them each to fill one trash bag! They got out there and made it happen. They are rockstars!

School

Dear Wetherbee Families,

We hope everyone is safe and secure during this difficult time.  We wanted to provide you with the latest update regarding COVID 19 virus and our Online Learning Plan.  Due to the extended time in which all schools in Massachusetts will be closed, we have developed a plan consistent with Lawrence Public Schools expectations regarding Online Learning.

All teachers will establish contact with each of their students and provide details about the online platform they will be using (ex. Zoom, Google Classroom, Seesaw, etc.)

Students participation in Online Learning is strongly recommended at this time.  Student work and participation should be for about 2-3 hours per day.

At this time, all of the work assigned will be assessed by the teacher and marked as complete or incomplete. All of the work assigned will be based on lessons already taught this year and no new material will be presented at this time.

Teachers will be available for office hours from 9am -12noon on all school days.  Teachers will provide their chosen means of communication with students.

If you are having difficulty contacting your teacher or have any questions please contact our Parent Liaison, Hilda Correa (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) or our Dean of Student Support, Mike Walsh (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.).

Sincerely,

The Wetherbee Team
