Students in their Spirit Week Garb

Smiles and giggles filled the halls the week of February 12th as the South Lawrence Elementary School celebrated Spirit Week. Students and staff dressed in their favorite sports attire, their class colors, as super heroes, and in their most mismatched outfits with crazy hair. Even with all the silliness, learning filled the classrooms.

Pen Pals group in classroom

Second graders at South Lawrence East Elementary enjoy the time the spend each week with their Phillips Academy Pen Pals. The group visits the 2nd grade and does fun workshops to improve writing skills. Their work gets published for the class to enjoy. Thank you, Lou Bernieri and our Phillips Academy friends!
