South Lawrence East Elementary held its first of three Family Literacy Nights of the year. Award winning storyteller Jackson Gillman delighted the 200 parents and children with his interactive stories and songs about school, families and autumn. After the storytelling, the families enjoyed a pizza dinner and a leaf rubbing craft. Each family received a new book and each child received a gently used book.
