Students in grades 1-12 represented Lawrence Public schools in the 2014 Distrcit Arts Fest. Seven visual art pieces were selected per school and were juried at the show. Students from across all grade levels participated in choral, dance, instrumental and theatrical performances. A huge thank you to all Arts Dept teachers for doing an amazing job showcasing the talent in Lawrence!!!

Lawrence high school teacher Donna Disario attended the NAEA convention last spring in San Diego. On November 4, during a teacher PD workshop, Donna presented a demonstration of a printmaking technique that she learned at the conference. Thanks Donna!

The glass tiles sparkle and shine in the main hallway of the Parthum Middle School. The mural depicting local landmarks, including the historic Prospect Hill firehouse, was a team effort on the part of muralist David Fichter, art teachers and students. Many hours went into initial designs, tile cutting and final assembly of this beautiful and permanent installation.
