Hello Everyone!

Welcome to year number five at LFPA!!!  Our little school on the hill is beginning the school year on a strong note after holding a week-long summer program for incoming K-1 and K-2 students.  It was wonderful to begin the teamwork with our parents that is the backbone of our philosophy.  As we continue working throughout the year we will be inviting you to family fun nights, parent/teacher conferences, and student performances.  We are also asking you to check your child’s backpack every night for work that they want to show you and for important notices.  Finally, we are asking you to read to your child every night-it doesn’t matter what language, it doesn’t matter if it is a picture book, book with words, or magazine.  What matters is the interactions you have with your children as you are their first teachers.  I’m looking forward to working with you this year!
