Event Calendar

Dear Students:

We hope that during these challenging times, that you and your families  are staying safe and healthy! While this is not a great time and we miss you all, we do have the opportunity to try to make a positive out of a not so positive situation!

Some of you may have missed some assignments during Terms 1 & 2  which may have negatively affected your overall Semester 1 grade. This is your opportunity to go into PowerSchool and take a look at your Term 1 & 2 assignments for all of your classes.  Once you determine which assignments you need, connect with your teachers and get those assignments completed and submitted.  Your teachers will grade and record them so that your overall grades can be adjusted.

As you may all be aware, the Distance Learning work your teachers are assigning now are reinforcing those skills you were taught originally but may not have shown mastery in because you did not pass in the completed assignments.  While the work assigned through our Distance Learning plan can help you earn extra credit toward your overall grade, please understand that ALL assignments from Term 1 & 2 are mandatory and will affect your Semester 1 grade.  This can potentially affect your promotion to grade 12 and graduation status. Take this time to get those assignments completed and submitted to your teachers. This is your time and opportunity  to recover those grades that you may need to move on to either senior year or graduation!

Also, Term 3 grades will remain open until we return to school or June 22 (the last day of school) whichever comes first. Take advantage of this to complete any Term 3 assignments that were assigned before March 13th that you had not yet completed.

Let’s use this time that we are apart as evidence of our personal growth and maturity and show everyone the good decisions we all make to better our future.  Just remember, Hard work pays off!

Please stay well, continue to follow all health and safety guidelines and please stay connected with your support system here at the Upper School.  We care for each and everyone of you and are here to help you in any way we can.

Be Well,

Dr. Reynoso, Mrs. Alonzo,  Mrs. Salach, and Mrs. Sarkis
