Pre-K and Kindergarten students got to know each other while playing games and fun activities. They got to learn a lot from many community partners like the Lawrence Public Library, LEAP, and many more. Jeff Riley and students after becoming Commissioner of Education

Lawrence High School students who helped create a video about the successes of Lawrence Public Schools attended an event at the State House today. The video was shown as one part of the event to celebrate how Massachusetts is "Leading the Nation" with progress in our schools since the adoption of the 1993 Education Reform Act. They also had the chance to congratulate Jeff Riley, our new Commissioner of Education, who was sworn in during the event. Congratulations!
