students in holiday hats

The holiday season kicked off in Lawrence with a special event at the city tree lighting. Students from around the City performed, including these 5th graders from South Lawrence East Elementary who performed holiday songs and a high school student sang the National Anthem while families enjoyed the holiday spirit and greetings from the Mayor and of course, a visit from Santa Claus.
