Superintendent Paris and school principals spoke with PTO leaders and others about the importance of regular attendance in school.

Students from around the District were able to enjoy a sensory friendly event hosted by the Special Education Parent Advisory Council recently. The Winter Festival provided a place for families to enjoy fun activities and games together, like this fun penguin photo booth.

TEACH video: This video showcases a number of teachers from around the country, including from LPS, who shared strategies for getting their students thinking at this year’s 2nd annual TEACH conference, which focused on science instruction centered on the way that children learn.  



KnowAtom video: In this video, LPS teachers joined other teachers from around the country to discuss why they’re excited about the KnowAtom science curriculum, and how it empowers students to see themselves as scientists and engineers as they answer questions and solve problems.
