Lawrence Family Institute for Student Success (LFISS)
The Lawrence Family Institute for Student Success (LFISS) is a parent education program that aims to empower families as engaged and supportive stakeholders in their child's educational career. When parents have informed participants in their child's education students develop the necessary skills to graduate high school, understand the college process, and compete in a globalized world. LFISS is based on the Parent Institute for Quality Education (PIQE); the curriculum includes information about the developmental stages of adolescence, the public school system, and college requirements.
