Breen Events

Student picking apples

On October 3, Breen Kindergarten got the chance to visit Parlee Farms in Tyngsboro MA. We have been learning all about Fall and the Fall Harvest, and this gave us a chance to experience the harvest in real life. Students got to pick pumpkins, apples, go on a hayride, and best of all: Feed the Animals!!! Everyone had fun learning all about the Fall Harvest!

Breen Students Cutting Ribbon In front of New Greenhouse

Breen School families and staff celebrated the opening of their brand new greenhouse. This Greenhouse will enable our young learners to have enriched hands-on experiences as they develop and awareness of a deeper understanding of living things in our environment. Many thanks to everyone involved who made this possible!

Breen students got the chance to visit all the wonderful art galleries in the Museum of Fine Arts. They learned different ways to interpret art and made their own art to compare to sculptures, paintings and other types of art.

Ambassadors of Peace recipients posing with certificates

As part of the John Breen's School Safe and Caring community, the first Ambassador of Peace celebration was held on October 21, 2016. Fourteen kindergarten students were recognized for their good citizenship skills in the presence of school staff and their families. Congratulations to all our ambassadors and their proud families.
