two Rising Star teachers with awards

Graphic that says Report Cards

Educators from across the district have been working to learn more about the benefits of Standards Based Grading and Reporting.  This two-year study will result in a new report card format for 2018-19.  Traditional letter grades do not tell parents which content and skills their child has mastered.  The new performance indicators will reflect progress on a continuum of standard mastery so educators, students, and parents will be informed of progress and skills.  We invite families to learn more by reading the FAQs below and by attending the next President’s Council Meeting on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at South Lawrence East School, 165 Crawford Street, Lawrence, MA beginning at 6:00 PM.
