Overview
The overall goal of Student Support Services is to provide safe, orderly, and child-centered schools that support personalization and higher achievement for all students. Our goal is achieved through a number of district and school-based supports, which work congruently with existing systems throughout the district. This department is responsible for the oversight of all student data, attendance, disciplinary hearings, counseling and psychological services.

Student Registration
School Registration takes place 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at your local school.
When you register, please bring the following:
- Completed Lawrence Public Schools Registration application
- Proof of address(current utility bill, mortgage or rental agreement)
- Child’s birth certificate(child must be 5 years old on or before September 1)
- Child’s health record with immunizations and dates of physical exams and vision screening
- Custody documentation if necessary
