Arbor Day at the Bruce School
In celebration of Arbor Day and in collaboration with Groundworks Lawrence, the Alexander Bruce students learned about the importance of trees to our city and environment. They then rolled up their sleeves and planted beautiful trees across the campus alongside City officials.

April AA Focus on Science and Math
About 1,400 students attended the vacation week April Acceleration Academy. There was lots of enthusiasm during the smaller class sizes and hands on learning.

Bruce Attends a Session at the MA Statehouse
The 8th grade students at the Alexander B. Bruce were recently invited to attend a session at the MA Statehouse hosted by both State Senator Pavel Payano and MA Representative Estela A. Reyes to learn about local civics and governance and how they can enact change through advocacy and voting.

ESOL Graduation 2024
Congratulations to the 59 parent graduates in the ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) program! These students are parents of current English Learner students around the District and worked hard in the 8 month evening program to improve their English. Always keep learning!

Kiss 108 Breakfast Winners
Lawlor Schools staff enjoyed a breakfast treat from Kiss 108 and Wendy's as winners of the "Breakfast for your Staff" contest. Looking good in their match t-shirts, the party planners had fun posing with DJ Mikey V and getting some swag to start their day! Thank you to Kiss 108 and Wendy's for making our morning special!

Parthum Middle School celebrated their Winter IM sports teams and enjoyed entertainment from LHS Theater students during their recent Pep Rally.

Guilmette Fun with Pie
Last week, the Guilmette Complex had a huge Pep Rally to get ready for MCAS. As part of the Pep Rally, students with perfect attendance got to Pie the Principals in the face!
